Lasers for Pharmaceuticals
Our tablet marking systems guard against pharmaceutical counterfeiting by permanently marking unique patterns, 2D codes, expiration dates, logos and other characters onto tablets. We can build anti-counterfeiting systems as standalone tablet markers or combine them with our tablet drillers.

Laser Drilling Tablets
Laser tablet drilling is a largely self-operating process that visually verifies aperture accuracy at speeds up to 140,000 tablets per hour. These systems produce the small apertures (200 μm to 2mm) required by osmotic pump tablets with the necessary dimensional tolerances and cosmetic appearance—making laser drilling the technology of choice for modern pharmaceutical tablet production.
- Process oval, round, and longitudinally compressed tablets (LCTs)
- Drill single, multi-hole, or unique patterns on bi-layer, bi-color tablets with full control over orifice size, shape and depth
Laser Marking Tablets

Machine Vision Verification
On-the-fly tablet verification checks each tablet twice for hole position, size, and/or number before reaching the collection bin.
