This pharmaceutical tablet drilling system is configurable for both round tablets and LCTs. Round tablets are able to be drilled at up to 10,000 tablets per hour but LCTs are at a reduced rate. Laser drilling is essential for osmotic-controlled release oral delivery system (OROS) tablets. Osmotic pump tablets release medication at a steady rate needed for certain treatments. CMS Laser has the resources to support customer research and development endeavors with tailored solutions from initial conception. through to prototype implementation.
