Cassette to Cassette Robotic Operation with Pre-aligner

This laser marking machine was designed for engraving silicon wafers with serial numbers using a ultraviolet laser. A SCARA wafer robot transports each wafer from the plastic carrier to a pre-aligner. This pre-aligner is used to ensure the wafer is rotated in the correct position for marking the serial number. The robot will then transport the wafer to the laser marking field to be serialized. This data is critical for tracking and maintaining quality control standards for semiconductor production.
