CO2 Laser Coding Machines
The class 4 CO2 laser coding and marking machine is intended for integration into existing systems or assembly lines for on-the-fly processing applications or for use as a static marking solution.
System Details
This CO2 laser system is capable of processing organics, such as cardboard, wood, leather, and more. It can be configured to mark, cut, or drill materials while in continual motion or in a stationary fixture. The class 4 laser can be mounted to any existing enclosure you may have or mounted directly to a benchtop with the appropriate safety measures in place. CO2 lasers are typically air-cooled but some require water-cooling as you move up in wattage. Additional features such as external axis control, dedicated I/O and marking on-the-fly makes the class 4 laser a powerful tool for any automated laser processing.

Class 4 Laser Safety
When it comes to class 4 lasers, there are many health and safety concerns to account for when operating without an interlocked enclosure. It is up to the client to provide appropriate safety measures to ensure operator and bystander safety. Our engineers typically provide on-site installation into existing client supplied workstations.

Our Technology
Enhance the capabilities of your class 4 laser machine
On-The-Fly Processing
Mark, cut, or drill materials as they travel at high-speeds under the laser. Etch barcodes, cut thin plastics and convert materials with precision and repeatability. Laser coding technology developed by the pioneers of on-the-fly processing.
Machine Vision
Incorporate vision validation techniques to ensure markings or cuts are precise—reducing waste and laser downtime.
The Absolute Best Customer Service Around
Working with Control Micro Systems has been very easy. They have been attentive to our needs and worked to help us tremendously with our older model machine and new machines. We are pleased with the performance of their machines.
CMS have been excellent partners in the development of new, complex equipment for our business. CMS built multiple machines for us. Each machine had a different purpose, however the CMS team worked openly & honestly with us to agree on optimal solutions for each one.
Working with the entire Control Micro Systems team on our project was a pleasure. CMS was capable of meeting and exceeding our goals. They successfully designed and built a machine which increased our throughput by 550%! We are so glad we chose to move forward with CMS.
