UV Laser Cutting System for Plastic Degating

This CDRH Class I laser system was design for cutting plastic injection molded parts. The X-Axis ultraviolet laser uses our through the optics vision system for locating each gate for cutting. By using the same lens as the laser, the camera system can rapidly determine the cutting locations for the gates and any flashing created during the molding process. Due to NDA reasons, the parts cannot be shown. CMS Laser can develop an automated solution for degating various types of injection molded parts.
