Laser Marking System for Medical Pacemakers

This CDRH Class I laser marking system features a XY table and a z-axis fiber laser. The laser is used for marking metal pacemakers on a fixture plate on the XY table. The table will move the next part into position after one is completed. A fume extraction system removes the vaporized material from inside the system. An automatic door with safety light curtain and interlocks is operated through a touch sensor located on the front of the machine.
